KAT’s COVID-19 Response

Dear KAT Family and Friends:

Like many community organizations, KAT has been monitoring the news, CDC guidance, and Governor Hogan’s executive orders pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Keeping the health and safety of our community of actors, designers, production team, and patrons in the forefront, we have decided to postpone our production of And Then There Were None until July 17, 2020.

For the immediate safety of our cast, we suspended in-person rehearsals the day Governor Hogan restricted gatherings of more than 10 people and will begin working together again as a cast via Zoom and other technologies this weekend from our homes. We will come together when the CDC and Governor Hogan lift the restrictions and deem it safe to do so. When we do come back together, we will take precautions to ensure that there is hand sanitizer available at every rehearsal, people wash their hands, and that if they are feeling unwell, they stay home.

If you have pre-purchased tickets for the May performances of And Then There Were None, you may exchange them for tickets in July. Our July dates are as follows:

Friday, July 17 – 8:15PM
Saturday, July 18 – 2PM & 8:15PM
Sunday, July 19 – 2PM
Friday, July 24 – 8:15PM
Saturday, July 25 – 2PM & 8:15PM
Sunday, July 26 – 2PM

If you are unable to attend the performance in July, KAT will happily exchange your ticket(s) for our winter 2021 show, Of Mice and Men. If neither of these will work, we will refund your ticket purchase. For exchanges/refunds, please e-mail managingdirector@katonline.org

Taking care of the health of our community is extremely important to the Board of Directors of KAT. We will continue to monitor the situation and guidance from the CDC and will send and post additional updates if things should change.

As a small non-profit, all volunteer theatre, we depend on ticket sales as our main source of support in order to provide you, our community with an amazing theatrical experience. I know that times are hard for all of us, but should you be able to, please consider donating to KAT to help us cover our costs while we are dark. Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated.

Be Safe and we will see you at the theatre soon,

Managing Director, Kensington Arts Theatre
