There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with KAT, from volunteering to productions to becoming a KAT Board Member. See the descriptions below to find your fit!

Volunteers

KAT is looking for more people to join our Sherlock Team! If you’ve ever wanted to get involved in community theatre but didn’t know where to start, here is your chance:

Costume Coordinator: We have costumes available, we need someone to pull them and fit the actors, and coordinate the process.

Sound Board Operator: Test actors’ mics and run the board during the performances

Master Carpenter: Lead the building of the set. Carpentry skills needed.

Backstage Manager: Coordinate the changing of scenes, costumes, and props during the show

Run dates are February 8-24. Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Please fill out the form below if interested.

Box Office / Concessions

Contribute to the success of KAT by volunteering to run the box office and helping with concession services. Volunteers who usher or help with concessions will receive on-the-spot training, and should arrive at least one hour prior to the show start time. Volunteers may stay to watch the show in any remaining available seats.

Those interested should contact the KAT House Manager. Volunteer positions are determined on a first-come basis at the discretion of the KAT House Manager.

Production Contract

All cast, directing staff, and stage managers are required to sign a production contract and pay a costume/script fee to offset the cost of insurance, rental space, show rights fees, and miscellaneous administration expenses. This entitles the individual the right to participate in all rehearsals, set building and painting days, and performances. The contract also provides the individual with a complimentary ticket (1) to a single performance during the run of the production. Production memberships are offered only to cast members and production staff/crew.
