 | Craig Pettinati (Producing Artistic Director) established Kensington Arts Theatre (KAT) in 2002. He has been pleased to produce and perform award-winning musicals for twenty years. In an extremely competitive market, KAT has established itself as one of the most prestigious community theatre groups in the DC Metro area. KAT musicals have received hundreds of WATCH nominations and have taken home nine Best Production WATCH/Ruby Griffith Awards. KAT has launched two original musicals: Night of the Living Dead and Nevermore. Both shows have since gone on to be produced by professional theatre groups throughout the United States. KAT is also proud to say that we were the first community theatre in the DC metro area to produce Urinetown, Next to Normal, The Addams Family, and The Bridges of Madison County. |
