CAST

Ted Culler (Superintendent Paul) is pleased to be making his first appearance at Kensington Arts Theatre. His most recent role was Lyman Wyeth in the Peace Mountain Theatre production of Other Desert Cities. Other credits include Tony in Sandy Spring Theatre’s Dial M for Murder, Norton/Dad in Silver Spring Stage’s The Emperor of North America, Russ/Dan in Greenbelt Arts Theatre’s Clybourne Park, and Vic in Little Theatre of Alexandria’s Funny Money.
Kelly Dobkins (Frances) is a KAT newbie enjoying a little break from musicals.  Kelly was last seen as Shelley in Hairspray (Rockville Musical Theatre).  Other past shows include Thoroughly Modern Millie (Reston Community Players), Pippin (The Arlington Players), Legally Blonde (Silhouette Stages), and Nice Work If You Can Get It (The Arlington Players).  Kelly is a proud member of both Drop the Mic Acappella and Kinor Dance Company.  Kelly lives in DC with her two furbabies, Toby and Mazy.
Ken Kemp (Arnold Needham) is on a British roll, having recently appeared as Henry Bingham (A Fox on the Fairway), and Henry Higgins (My Fair Lady). Favorite roles - John Adams (1776), Moonface (Anything Goes), and Stage Manager (Our Town). Professional credits - Annapolis Shakespeare Company, Olney Theatre, Ford's Theatre, and Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre. Film/TV - House of Cards, VEEP, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Health, American Heroes Channel, CBS Sports/Golf Channel, and numerous indie films.
Dash Samari (Peter) began working with KAT in last year’s production of Oliver! as part of the ensemble. He is grateful to be working with Bruce Hirsch once again since Plaza Suite (Sandy Spring Theatre Group).  He was last seen at Montgomery College in The Crucible as John Proctor.  Other recent credits include The Wild Party as Phil (Greenbelt Arts Center) and The Mousetrap as Giles Ralston (Greenbelt Arts Center).
Kristen Scott (Barbara) is a newcomer and is excited to be performing in her first role at KAT. She has a Theatre/Video degree from Stevenson University.
Noah Steurer (Brian Runnicles) is pleased to be making his debut performance with KAT. Previously, he's performed in various roles with A Taste for Murder Productions and Rockville Little Theater (RLT). Most recently, he appeared as Sherlock Holmes in RLT's Sherlock's Veiled Secret. Thanks go to Kathleen for all her support and understanding.
Alison Starr (Susan) is delighted to return to KAT after being last seen in Oliver! Other shows include Disgraced as Emily (Greenbelt Arts Center), Season of Light: A Winter Fairytale (Silver Spring Stage), One Act 2018 Festival (Silver Spring Stage), and Angel Street as Nancy (Greenbelt Arts Center). She has also performed in several community and professional productions throughout California and Ohio.
Stephen Swift (Leslie Bromhead) was last seen as Juror #3 in Sandy Spring Theater Group’s (SSTG) production of 12 Angry Men.  Steve’s other credits include Watson in The Final Adventure (Montgomery Playhouse), Clown #1 in The 39 Steps (SSTG), and Richard Pierson in War of the Worlds and When Welles Collide (SSTG). He also produces Seniors on Stage, a group of seniors who perform radio plays at local senior centers.
Jill Vanderweit (Eleanor) is working with KAT for the first time, but she was seen on this stage before as Jean in the British Players' production of Quartet.  This past year she portrayed Lady Beaconsfield in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: The Musical at Laurel Mill Playhouse; and performed in Puffs with Landless Theatre, taking on 12 different wacky magical characters each night at DC Arts Center, Best Medicine Rep, and Washington County Playhouse.
