The world’s greatest detective has seemingly reached the end of his remarkable career when a case presents itself that is too tempting to ignore: The King of Bohemia is about to be blackmailed by a notorious photograph, and the woman at the heart of this crime is the famous opera singer, Irene Adler. With Doctor Watson at his side, Sherlock Holmes pursues the case. which leads to the lair of a longtime adversary.

![]() | Bob Brewer (Policeman/Clergyman) is thrilled to be performing in his first KAT production. Originally, from St. Louis, MO, Bob performed in numerous productions at Xavier University in Cincinnati, such as the annual student show Toolbox and as a priest in a staged version of Dead Man Walking. His friend Natalie encouraged him to audition for Sherlock Holmes, and he is looking forward to returning to the stage for the first time in almost 15 years. Bob works days teaching Latin and Greek at a local high school and enjoys weight lifting and hiking. Thanks to his girlfriend Jackie for all her support. |

He is delighted to be working (at last!) with Peter and with Nick and Meghan. |
![]() | Meghan Williams Elkins (Irene Adler) A professionally trained actress and a classically trained musician in voice and piano, has been seen on professional stages, such as The Guthrie, The Kennedy Center, and Wolf Trap, and has performed with local community theatre organizations, including RMT, MP, VLOC, K2S, and BP. Meghan received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting with a Minor in Music at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, MN. This is Meghan’s first appearance with KAT. Meghan’s next role with KAT will be as Mrs. Corney in Oliver! |
![]() | Peter Harrold (Sherlock Holmes) is delighted to be making his debut with KAT in this fascinating play, and to be working with this talented and dedicated production team and great cast. He has appeared on this same stage many times in BP productions, most recently as Reggie in Quartet in 2018. He has also performed with LTA in Key for Two, RLT in An Inspector Calls and Go Back for Murder and on various stages around the world during his peripatetic career at the World Bank. Since retiring, Peter has been teaching at George Washington University and enjoying long summers in France. |
![]() | Bill Hurlbut (Dr. Watson) recently appeared in Nobody Dies on Friday at Atlas Theatre Center, Hobson’s Choice at QTC, and All My Sons at Peace Mountain Theatre Company. Other credits include Other Desert Cities, Orson’s Shadow, The Crucible, and Humble Boy. He won the WATCH award for Best Featured Actor in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in 2014. He also directed Silent Sky and Omnium Gatherum at SSS, where he is on the Board of Directors and will direct The Importance of Being Earnest there in May. He has bachelors and masters degrees in theatre and studied acting at Herbert Berghof Studio in NY and Studio Theatre Conservatory in DC. |

Other roles: Gonzalo, The Tempest (Northwest Shakespeare Ensemble, Seattle); John Honeyman, Walk in the Woods (Schwayder Theater, Denver); Scrooge, Christmas Carol & EK Hornbeck, Inherit the Wind, (Aurora Fox Theater, Denver); Major General Stanley, The Pirates of Penzance (Scarlet’s Dinner Theater, Denver). Also in Denver, he directed Lion in Winter (The Theater on Broadway). In the United Kingdom, he played Andrew Wyke in Sleuth. To fill the time since his last role, he got a PhD in history from the University of Maryland, and now works for the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. |

Previous credits include Emily in Our Town, Irina in Three Sisters, and Tansy in Larry Shue’s The Nerd. Born in Oregon, raised in Wisconsin, and schooled at the University of Minnesota, she currently lives in Kensington with her supportive husband, mischievous cat, and goofy dog. |
![]() | Nick Sampson (Sid Prince, Sound Design) has appeared on Montgomery County stages over some thirty years doing anything from Shakespeare (his first love) to contemporary. He’s delighted to have a go at Sid the cockney villain in this production. His most favorite recent role was Dogberry the dim constable in Much Ado About Nothing (SSS, 2016). |

He has been a part of many community theater events, commercials as well as academic and military training videos. He trained at various acting studios from Studio Theater DC to Shakespeare Theater Company.
